A classical grounding

At its heart, the Connaught Bar Gin is built upon the classics. Hand-crushed juniper berries, coriander seeds, liquorice, angelica and orris root are among the botanicals of this gin – with Moroccan mace introducing an aromatic aspect.

A novel blend

The lemon tones are derived from Amalfi citrus, added fresh in the final moments of distillation for optimum sweetness. Meanwhile, the gin owes its distinctive red wine character to an elegant Bordeaux from The Connaught cellar.

  • 200ml tonic water
  • 2 red grapes

Our interpretation of the perfect gin and tonic begins with a large cube of ice in a highball glass. Pour the gin directly onto the ice – followed by the tonic water – and drop in two red grapes to finish.
