The Story of Artie - One morning Artie, who lived in the English countryside, spotted a stunning shiny black convertible parked by the road. No one seemed to be around, so he jumped in and lay down on the rear seat for a quick nap. He soon fell asleep and when he woke up, he was in Mayfair, London, in front of the grand Connaught Hotel. The driver saw him and instantly fell in love. She lived at The Connaught and adopted Artie. She asked the local Mayfair children to select a name for him. Guests of the hotel would always stop to greet Artie and give him cuddles.
