The Connaught Cigar Merchants & Darroze Armagnac
Pouring generations of expertise into just 500 bottles, this bespoke Armagnac blend is a true collector's piece - and the perfect accompaniment to the cigar of your choice.
Tasting Notes:
On the eye, this is a golden Armagnac with a rich mahogany reflection. The nose is intense yet balanced, with aromas of candied fruits, honey and beeswax. In the palate, expect an elegant blend of sweetness and spice, with nutmeg, liquorice, gingerbread and cigar box tones that lingers long in the mouth.
Grappes used are 75% Baco and 25% ugni blanc.

          Notes: 40% ABV
Individually, each distinct vintage sings. Together, they create a delicious harmony. Complex in character, the 1966 heritage Armagnac introduces rancio, coffee, walnut and honey notes. With each sip comes a new dimension, courtesy of the 1992 and 1997 vintages, while the freshness and fruit of the 13-year old Armagnac is the final flourish in each beautifully balanced bottle.

The Connaught x Assouline Book
“History may be written in stone, but it can also be captured in more mutable material. The Connaught’s near-130-year history illustrates this point wonderfully. The hotel’s approach to hospitality that has been honed over generations is forever present and remains every bit as integral to its story as the building itself. It’s these elements that best illustrate the extraordinary heritage of the 'Monarch of Mayfair' – and continue to define its place on the world stage. Researching such a storied past has been fascinating, and I’m indebted to The Connaught’s team past and present for making it such a rich and satisfying experience.” Bill Prince, The Connaught Book Author
